Hi, I'm Dave McGruddy.
A number of years ago, someone said something to me that I've never forgotten.
"I just can't love you the way you need to be loved. I can't give you what you need."
That sentence stayed with me for years.
The difficult part was, she was right. She couldn't give me what I needed. But neither could I tell her what I needed, because I didn't know myself.
I just knew something was missing.
That question stayed with me through two marriages, raising four unique children, and more than a decade of wondering why some relationships seem effortless while others slowly drift apart.
The questions
I became fascinated by human connection.
Why do you sometimes meet someone and instantly click?
Why do some friendships feel natural from the very beginning?
Why can two people genuinely care about each other, yet still feel like they're missing one another?
What is it that creates that connection?
And why do you sometimes meet someone you really like, yet something just feels... missing?
I wanted to understand what was happening underneath it all.
For the last 10 to 15 years I've been thinking about those questions. Over the last year, they've become an obsession.
Why Love360 exists
That obsession became Love360.
Not because I wanted to build another app. Because I wanted to build something I wish had existed years ago.
Something that could explain how we naturally connect with people, how we give and receive connection, and why those things are often very different.
Today, I can honestly say this is the coolest thing I've ever created. I never imagined I'd be capable of building something like this.
Many people close to me have said, "Where have you been? You've disappeared." The truth is, I had.
I've poured myself into this because I genuinely believe it can help people better understand themselves and the people they care about.
I'm incredibly proud to be the father of four unique children, grateful to be surrounded by people who care about me and love me, and thankful for every life experience, both good and difficult, because without them, Love360 wouldn't exist.
